Very sturdy box for shipping; nicely reinforced at the edges. The unit assembly was quick, and all parts were included (even a few extra screws and nails!).One of the shelves has a permanent location; the other two have some adjustment options.But now that it's in place, it is quite functional. The shelves are significantly less deep than the frame. Overall, it's not as good a buy as a Sauder item would be (the other source for our self-assembled furniture), but still a pretty nice value for the price.
