KCMA has created a new Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) to encourage industry policies and practices that benefit the environment and the wellbeing of society. This groundbreaking program provides a tangible way for cabinet manufacturers to show their commitment to sustainability.
Ninety plants and brands (listed below) are the first to meet the certification requirements of this groundbreaking program and nearly twenty more cabinetmakers are well on their way to achieving certification.
After meeting the certification requirements in areas such as air quality (low-formaldehyde emitting composite wood), resource management and environmental stewardship, companies are awarded the ESP seal to display on their products. So look for the ESP seal and help us make sure more than just our cabinets last. Certified plants are identified with location. Brands are listed aphabetically with no added description.
